Additionally, the animation and graphic design in this game are absolutely stunning. Every aspect of the forgotlings' world, in addition to the character designs I already gushed about, is painstakingly created and strikingly beautiful. The game also occasionally switches into a more cinematic cutscene mode to highlight a character's expression or a crucial moment, and when it does, it just looks absolutely stunning and seamless.

The characters are really what make this story stand out. Particularly the tenacious Chief Inspector Magnum and the resistance's leaders Bulb and Fig are both downright inspired in terms of character design and voice acting. I adore almost everything about Fig, a particular standout. Additionally, it's obvious that the developers paid close attention to the minute details of how each character would naturally exist in the world.

GAMEPLAY

Combines platforming with puzzle solving. Platforming is awkward and rarely requires more than one standard jump at once; in all honesty, it's hardly even worth mentioning. While still simple, puzzles have improved slightly. But as the game progresses, a lot of intriguing features and events will appear.
